Brock Reed has focused much of his career specializing in branding for the Specialty Food and Beverage industries. He worked for Seattle's Best Coffee in route sales right after graduating from Washington State University, then took an international business trip to Costa Rica where he helped develop a retail and merchandise program for a local coffee roaster and trader. It was this experience that first taught Brock what it takes to build a brand from the ground up.

After a year in Costa Rica, Brock returned to the States and went to work for Starbucks Coffee Company. He played a key role in building various brands - from a hot new cafe concept called Circadia Coffee House, to a futuristic cafe of "tomorrow" called Store 2000. After 3+ years with Starbucks, Brock moved on to Briazz where he helped put together and manage a wholesale program for grocery and other retail companies interested in carrying Briazz's products.

Looking for a new challenge, Brock's next move was to a Seattle design firm. It was while working this firm that he discovered his true passion for branding and realized the impact good design has on creating a strong brand. He worked as a Project and Account Manager for the firm for just over a year before deciding to start a business of his own - SHIFT, Inc.. Brock is the Managing Partner and Director of Business Development for SHIFT, Inc. He also works with clients to develop solid, long-term brand strategies.
